ARTIST STATEMENT
From early childhood, I have been intrigued with texture and color. Through experimentation with different media and techniques, I discovered my own style of collage. My work is created by layering hundreds of pieces of cut, painted canvas that enables me to make my vision and finished product match. Over the course of the past seven years I have perfected my signature technique to create joyous, vivid, dimensional paintings and sculptures.

BIO
Like many artists Robin took the paths least visited as well as a few that others recommended. Never one to follow directions, she attended several colleges before finally graduating from Clemson. It is her willingness and love of different that lead her to create her unique style of art. She takes canvas paints it, cuts it and layers it to create paintings and sculptures alike. Since 2004 she has been a full-time professional artist living and working in South Carolina.

But in 2011, when Robin fell in with Stan DuBose, it wasn't just a meeting of the hearts it was a meeting of two creative minds. The beginning of their journey together led to End of the Road Studios. The artistic couple is fortunate to share a beautiful studio/gallery space that they built on the historic DuBose family farm in Walhalla, SC. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the farmland serves as both artistic inspiration and homestead for the newlywed couple, two dogs, and a wonderfully weird cat.
