Metal. To many it is hard, rigid and immovable. But metal flows, bends and can be worked over and over again. It is both industrial and organic. Through the processes such as fold forming, forging and riveting I am able to work with this dual nature to connect with my materials.

Wendy Edsall-Kerwin is a jewelry artist and metalsmith living and working out of her home in Elizabethtown, PA. Wendy received a BFA from Tyler School of Art in 1998. Along with creating her art, Wendy teaches techniques in metalsmithing through workshops and is the author of "Better Know Your Hammer". Her work has been selected for inclusion in the Art of the State: Pennsylvania 2007, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 exhibits at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA as well as a number of other local, regional and national exhibitions.
